There is a useful energy in trees. Beside trees protecting our planet against too high temperatures, they produce a precious process, called photosynthesis, a process through which carbon dioxide (CO2) a major pollutant, is transformed into Oxygen, which is needed by us , plants, flora, fauna on earth and in the oceans.
If you want, you can organize a plant a tree day in your neighborhood, talk about it, or just do it for your self, it’s OK!
These days, Summer is ending … now is the time to get into the garden and plant a tree. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Trees for a Green LA Program in partnership with Million Trees LA is giving out free shade trees to Los Angeles City residents.
A shade tree is beneficial to the environment, you can enjoy cool natural shade and cleaner air, while improving the neighborhood. To receive FREE shade trees through the Trees for a Green LA program (TFGLA) and have it delivered for free, just follow the simple steps below.

Change the World (a poem)
Yes I want to change the world.
I start by me.
What should I change
in my life?
Then I talk to children.
What should I change
in my life?
Then I talk to my neighbors.
What should I change
in my life?
Just plant a tree,
just plant a bush,
and then another one.
One day at a time,
one plant at a time,
I can, we can, we all can…
change the world!
